Splatmat Ltd. is a small family owned company which was founded in 2017 by two people; Jen and John. We wanted to create a simple multi usable product which is environmentally safe and reusable over and over again. Our products are divided into two main categories:

- Artistic line (non toxic mat)

- Protection line (non toxic mat)

What is Splatmat?

Splatmat is a unique technology created of 100% polyurea. A must have in every home! It is 

• durable
• reusable
• non toxic
• VOC free
• solvent, skid and slip resistant
• easy to clean (does not soak up liquids,oils or solid matters)

Our artistic line is based on the desire to bring art back into schools and private homes with a one of a kind new technology of an affordable reusable canvas. We would like to inspire artists all over the world by offering a new type of reusable medium to paint and draw on. Paper and canvases are often quite expensive and for the most part not reusable. We have designed a polyurea mat which has qualities a traditional medium cannot provide.

Our protection line is based on the desire to do something for environmental protection. While building, constructing, erecting or even on a daily basis things have to be protected from:

• paint spills (repainting houses, crafting)
• oil spills (working on cars)
• damage from standing on things (bath tub installation)
• damage from dropping things (tile flooring)
• messes (dog prints, shoe prints)

Did you know that the tape alone to adhere mediums such as drop cloths, etc. costs more than 9.2 billion dollars in North America yearly and that the mediums themselves are estimated at ten times more per year e.g. plastic drop cloths? (By the way all of these products end up in our landfills and waterways!) What if there was a product that didn’t need to be taped down and could be reused over and over again?
